Die Wohnung ist insgesamt gross und hell und hat einen schönen Parkettboden. Zur Wohnung gehören ein Wohnzimmer mit Eckbank und Bettsofa, eine gemütliche Küche, ein Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche sowie ein kleines separates WC. Dazu kommen ein kleiner Balkon und eine Gemeinschaftsdachterrasse. Die Waschmaschine im Keller teilen wir mit dem Haus. Einmal pro Woche kommt jemand, der staubsaugt und Küche und Bad putzt. Das kostet rund 40 Franken pro Person und Monat zusätzlich zur Miete und erspart uns den Ämtliplan. Den Rest machen wir unkompliziert: Wer etwas braucht, räumt es danach wieder weg. Die Wohnung ist ordentlich, aber nicht steril. _____________________________________________________________ The room has a nice window, making it bright and, despite its location, quiet at night when the window is closed. The flat is spacious and has lovely parquet flooring. The flat has a living room with a corner bench and a sofa bed, a cosy kitchen, a bathroom with a bath and shower, and a small separate toilet. There is also a small balcony and a communal roof terrace. We share the washing machine in the basement with the other residents of the building. Once a week, someone helps us with the housework by vacuuming the flat and cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. This costs around 40 francs per person per month on top of the rent and gives us the freedom not to have a cleaning plan. The rest is kept simple: whoever uses something puts it away afterwards. Er arbeitet als Kameramann, kommt ursprünglich aus dem Tessin, hat lange in Berlin gelebt und zieht jetzt frisch fix nach Zürich. Stéphi (27) ist gern draussen beim Wandern oder Klettern, sonst mag sie es gemütlich und näht oder liest. Sie promoviert in nachhaltiger Landwirtschaft (spezifisch Aquaponics) und ist dafür immer wieder längere Zeit im Ausland. Ursprünglich kommt sie aus Basel und wohnt seit ein paar Jahren in Zürich.
