Das Zimmer istBright and spacious furnished room in a 3-person shared apartment in Zürich-Schwamendingen, available from around 15 October 2026. The room has plenty of natural light and direct access to the balcony. The apartment has a shared kitchen and bathroom and is in a quiet residential area. Rent: CHF 500/month + CHF 21.50 internet = CHF 521.50/month. Heating, electricity and water are included, making it a very affordable option for Zürich. I am leaving Zürich after finishing my Master's thesis at ETH and would like to hand over the furniture together with the room. The furniture can be taken over for CHF 200 one-time and includes the main furnishings shown in the pictures. The current tenancy is confirmed until 28 February 2027. The building is planned for redevelopment; however, the move-out date has already been postponed in the past, so a further extension may be possible, but cannot be guaranteed. The room is part of student housing, so the new tenant needs to have student/PhD status. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can take over the room from around 15 October and also take over the furniture for CHF 200. | The apartment is currently shared by three Master's students. I am a Neuroengineering Master's student and have just finished my thesis at ETH Zürich, which is why I am now leaving Zürich. The two remaining flatmates are friendly Italian ETH Master's students in Physics and Chemistry. They are easy-going and independent and generally spend quite a lot of time studying or in their own rooms, so the apartment tends to be calm and quiet. The atmosphere is relaxed and respectful rather than a party WG. Everyone has their own routine, while still being friendly with each other. Proximité transports : Tram 7 is just a 1-minute walk away, with bus connections and Tram 9 also nearby. There is quick access to Stettbach, Oerlikon, and central Zürich. Migros, Coop, and Denner are all within a 5–10 minute walk. The area is quiet and residential.
