Das Zimmer istBright 4-room JUWO apartment in Zürich Affoltern with a private outdoor seating area. ETH Hönggerberg is very easy to reach — around 12 minutes by public transport, and also easily accessible by bike. The location offers a nice combination of greenery and good connections to the city and ETH. Important: the apartment is unfurnished when we move in. You will be moving in as a subtenant together with one of the main tenants and another temporary subtenant. I plan to rent a van to bring furniture into the apartment, and we’re happy to help you move some of your things at the same time. If you buy furniture specifically for the room or apartment during your stay, we may also be interested in buying some of it from you when you move out (if you don't want to keep it of course). | We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and communicative student who meets JUWO’s eligibility criteria and would enjoy living in a sociable shared flat. Meeting JUWO criteria is a must, as you will have to get their approval to become a subtenant. You will have your own private room, while the common areas are meant to be shared and enjoyed together. We like the idea of occasionally cooking, working side-by-side, chatting, or simply saying hello when we cross paths, while of course respecting everyone’s privacy and schedule. We’re also looking for someone who is considerate about keeping the shared spaces clean and is happy to contribute to normal household chores. Since the apartment will be completely unfurnished when the lease starts on 16 October, it would be great to find someone who is willing to cooperate with us while we get the flat set up. I will most likely rent a van around move-in, so we can also help you transport some of your things if useful. Because our current rental contracts end at different times, two of the rooms will initially be sublet until 28 January. I’m Emre, 22, and I will be living in the apartment during this period together with the two subtenants. I recently started my MSc in Computer Science at ETH Zürich and spend most weekdays on campus. Outside university, I regularly go to the gym and enjoy spending time outdoors. Some of my other hobbies are SCUBA diving, photography, classical guitar and wood carving — although admittedly most of these have been on pause since moving to Switzerland.
