Das Zimmer istOne of two available rooms in our big, bright, modern, kickass new flat near Bucheggplatz in Zurich. The available rooms are highlighted in the floor plan :) The important stuff: - 5.5-room flat - 2 bathrooms: one with a bathtub, one with a shower - CHF 1,270/month, all-inclusive: 2.5 Gbit/s internet, household contents insurance (Hausratsversicherung), Serafe, water, heating and electricity. Basically: no surprise extra bills. - Private washer and dryer in the apartment - Excellent public transport connections - Freshly painted - Balcony for sunset aperitivos and barbecue ambitions - Kickass beamer + Hi-Fi sound system for movies and music - Bicycle storage; parking can be arranged - Move-in ideally October 1st, but earlier is possible if needed We’ve just rented the place, so this is the beginning of a new WG, and you get to help shape it. The plan is to slowly turn it into a properly great home: cool furniture, plants, entertainment stuff and all those little things that make you actually want to spend time there. The end goal? Watching a game from the sofa, movie nights with the beamer, record-listening sessions, or a barbecue on the balcony with an aperitivo freshly made at our future cocktail station. Yes, the cocktail station is currently more of a spiritual commitment than an actual piece of furniture. Bring your ideas, taste, weird hobbies, furniture suggestions and favourite rituals. We want to build our home together :) | Two flatmates who read the above and think: “Yep, I could get behind that.” We don’t have a checklist for who you need to be. Your age, profession or how closely your life resembles ours matters much less than whether the vibe fits, you’re considerate, and you actually want to make this WG your home too. We see shared living as a chance for good experiences, personal growth and a bit of a launchpad for life in Zurich. We’d love a home where people enjoy hanging out, cooking, having friends over, watching something together or spontaneously having a beer or an aperitivo after work. At the same time, everyone has their own life and space. Disappearing into your room is perfectly legal. No mandatory friendship attendance sheets. We do like to run a reasonably tight ship: cleanliness, accountability and order DO matter to us. Remembering the bins, paying your share and leaving the kitchen usable are all surprisingly sexy flatmate qualities. A home works best when everyone contributes and nobody has to become the household police. This isn’t a finished project designed by the two of us. Whoever moves in will help create the place and the life we share in it. Your ideas are very welcome, including the weird ones. Especially the good weird ones. If this sounds like your kind of place, send us a little about yourself: who you are, what you’re up to in Zurich, what you enjoy doing and what kind of WG life you’re looking for. Some pics of you would be lovely too :) No formal application or complete autobiography needed. We just want to get a feeling for the human behind the message. Looking forward to meeting you, dudes and dudettes! | Riccardo (Richi, M27) and Klemen (Klem, M28), two friends starting a new WG. Klem is the logical heart of the WG. He remembers the bills you forgot, notices which provisions need buying, and dreams of the day we finally have a NAS storing an unreasonable number of movies (EY OH pirates!!). You might find him in the morning with an ice pack around his head after one of his occasional headaches, but also with a big warm smile, ready to hear what’s up. If he cooks, you normally get some… whether the outcome is good or bad. He speaks German and English and, supposedly, can also write. He’s a young professional working in the huge world of finance and, so far, hasn’t completely lost his soul. Richi is an Italian immigrant we believe should be allowed to remain in Zurich. He’s an active dude who smells fantastic, knows how nutrients work, trains regularly, cooks fantastically and is generally the energetic bullet trying to fill your day with joy. Be warned: he has already claimed his favourite spot on the couch because it’s apparently the sound system’s stereo focal point. He is a super passionate engineer. And if you ever want to understand how the world works, you’ll have a walking lexicon nearby, ready to explain absolutely everything, whether he actually knows the answer or not. Jokes aside, we want to build a warm, social home with people who enjoy living together, look out for each other and pull their weight. Good company, personal space, a reasonably clean kitchen and the occasional excellent drink. That’s the vision. PS: We also have two kickass motorbikes. Apparently one expensive hobby each wasn’t enough :) Proximité transports : Guggachpark area, Bucheggplatz, Käferberg forest Originalinserat : https://www.wgzimmer.ch/wglink/de/5388e963-447a-4595-bdcb-aaf676bd27e6/zurich-stadt/20-9-2026-1270-zurich-stadt.html
